Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website www.shiftworks.pt uses, what they are for and how you can choose. The controller is Shiftworks Unipessoal Lda. (NIPC 519245970). For any question: dgoncalves@shiftworks.pt.
1. Necessary
Basis: legitimate interest and technical necessity (Article 5(2) of Portuguese Law 41/2004). Always on:
- Consent preference (Shiftworks): stores in your browser the choice you made in the cookie notice, so we don't ask you again.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.): protects the diagnosis form against automated submissions.
2. Analytics
Basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). They only load if you accept “Analytics”:
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd.): measure visits, pages viewed and traffic sources.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.): heatmaps and session recordings, with form fields masked, to understand where the site fails.
- Our own measurement (Shiftworks): pages viewed, reading depth and progress through forms, on our own server.
3. Marketing
Basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). They only load if you accept “Marketing”:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): measures conversions from campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
- Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.): measures conversions from campaigns on Google.
- Shiftworks: stores in the browser the campaign and the ad click the visit came from (sw_utm and sw_click_id), to attach them to your contact request if you make one.
- Apollo.io (Apollo.io, Inc., USA): identifies the company from the visit's IP address. The transfer to the USA is covered by Apollo.io's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Some of these providers (Google, Microsoft, Meta, Cloudflare, Apollo.io and LiveIntent) may transfer data to the USA under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
4. Without consent
If you decline, or until you decide, the Google tag sends signals without cookies (“Consent Mode”), used only for aggregate estimates. Nothing is sent to Meta or Apollo.io.
5. Cookies and storage, one by one
Read in the browser on 27 October 2026, in a new session, after accepting all categories. Shiftworks items are only stored when needed: sw_cta when you click a button; sw_utm and sw_click_id, under “Marketing”, when the visit comes from a campaign and marketing has been accepted. Each provider sets its own duration, which may change without notice from us.
